Sometimes Oscar Pennington’s work required him to investigate smaller living things. And often they were creatures that lived rather secret lives almost in plain sight. He would find them in the most ordinary places, like his garden or woods behind his country home. When not traveling the globe following up on reports, he liked to collect molds, fungi, and rocks. |
